The Cardiopulmonary Services Department provides both inpatient and outpatient services for heart and lung related disorders, including Cardiac Rehabilitation, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Sleep Lab.

 

 

Department services include:

Respiratory Care : 

  • Breathing treatments with medication
  • Oxygen Therapy
  • Arranging for home respiratory care equipment
  • Care and monitoring of patients on ventilators in the CCU
  • Arterial Blood Gas analysis-drawing and analyzing blood for oxygen, carbon dioxide, and Ph
  • Pulmonary Function Testing-breathing tests
  • Patient Education-smoking cessation, breathing exercises, instruction for inhalers and spacers

Cardiology:

  • Echocardiograms—images (pictures) of the heart
  • Cardiac Stress Testing
    • Exercise Echocardiogram imaging
    • Exercise Nuclear Imaging
  • Electrocardiogram-EKG
  • Outpatient heart monitoring-Holter and Event monitors
