After a three year hiatus, Speare Memorial Hospital is happy to celebrate women’s health with our 10th annual Wine, Women & Wisdom! This is our annual ladies night out — time to celebrate life with a wine tasting, buffet dinner, exhibits, raffle, women’s health presentations from local medical experts, cash bar, and comedy to remind us that laughter is the best medicine!

Shop local, female-owned businesses for handcrafted arts, stylish clothing, and jewelry. Enter to win raffle prizes like skin care products, golf foursomes, and gift certificates to wine tastings, performances, and fabulous restaurants. Be sure to bring money to shop our exhibitor area and purchase raffle tickets for some great prizes!

The doors will open at 4:00 pm and the first speaker will go on at 5:30 pm.

Tickets can only be purchased on this page by clicking the “Register to attend” link above

Carolyn Plummer

Comedian.  Writer.  Wise Ass.

Some comics rely on the monumental events of the day or the faux pas of the rich and famous.  Not Carolyn.  Carolyn pulls material from the hum-drum, day-to-day monotony of the life of everywoman; and she does it well.  To Carolyn the monumental is easy ... it's our existence that's so hard, yet so ridiculous. Carolyn puts a nail through the hearts of whiners, self-loathers and the self-sorry of the world and makes the average seem hilarious and larger than life.  Most of all, Carolyn's twisted perception of our common existence leaves audiences hysterically shaking heads in agreement that the world is indeed a very funny place.
