Mission Statement
The Volunteer Services Department provides a variety of opportunities for adults and students who are willing to share their interests and talents while providing service to our community hospital.

Overview of Department
Volunteers are active throughout the hospital and provide many thoughtful services for our visitors and patients. Volunteers provide directions for visitors; assist family and friends waiting for a loved one in the emergency room; help at golf tournaments and health fairs; manage the gift counter; and work in offices to assure smoother workflow.

  • In 2008, 82 volunteers contributed over 10,000 hours of service to our hospital
  • One-fourth of all of our volunteers are male
  • One-fourth of our volunteers are students
