Visitors

Visits from family and friends can be a high point of your day and are important to your recovery, but please remember that your primary reason for being here is to rest and get well. Too many visitors or lengthy visits can slow your recovery. Help us care for you by reminding your visitors of these guidelines:

  • Keep visits short - 15 minutes is recommended.
  • Two visitors at a time are welcome in your room.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the hospital grounds.
  • Children under 12 may visit with the authorization of your physician or charge nurse. Children must not be left unattended anywhere in the hospital.

Pastoral Visits
If you wish to be visited by a representative of the clergy, please notify your nurse. Visiting clergy are informed of the patient's religious preference if it is stated at admission.

Visiting Hours

  • General: 1:00pm to 8:00pm.
  • Intensive Care: 5 minutes at a time, as condition allows.
  • Skilled Nursing: 1:00pm to 8:00pm.
  • Pediatrics: 1:00pm to 8:00pm.
  • Maternity: Father or support person receives unlimited visiting privileges; brothers and sisters may also come with father. Other family members and friends are allowed liberal visitation. Please check with nursing in order to prevent overtiring the new mother.
