Smoking is not permitted on hospital grounds.
Wheelchairs can tip over. Do not hesitate to ask a member of the nursing staff to help you in and out of your wheelchair.
Personal Electric Equipment may not be used in the hospital without an electrical safety check performed by hospital personnel, prior to its use. Battery operated shavers and toothbrushes are permitted.
Medications prescribed by your physician during your hospital stay are part of a carefully planned program of treatment. Use of other medication may upset that plan and could be harmful to you.
Please do not bring medications from your home unless directed to do so by your physician.
The hospital pharmacy will fill your physician's prescriptions, and the nurses will deliver your medication at the proper time.
Personal Items can be thrown away by mistake, and we cannot assume responsibility for replacing them.
Be particularly careful about hearing aids, eyeglasses, and dentures. Please do not place them on meal trays; put them on your bedside table, or other safe place. Leave all valuables at home.
Fire Drills are conducted periodically and may occur during the day or night. We regret the noise of the fire alarm, but we must keep our staff alert and well trained for your safety and theirs.
Cell Phones may interfere with some medical devices and are not allowed in any area within the hospital.
