Cardiac Rehab

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is located at Speare Memorial Hospital, and is a medically prescribed and supervised program for individuals with certain cardiac diagnosis. Participants in this outpatient program attend three days a week for 6-8 weeks, combining cardiac education and monitored exercise.

Nationally certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary RehabilitationAACVPR_CertPro_Final_4C (AACVPR), Speare’s Cardiac Rehab is recognized for its commitment to improving the quality of life by enhancing standards of care.

Most insurance companies will cover all or part of the Cardiac Rehab program for patients with a diagnosis of a recent heart attack, stable angina, coronary artery bypass graft, angioplasty with or without a stent, valve repair or replacement and also a heart transplant.
