Position: Medical Secretary/Receptionist
Department: Plymouth Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Clinic

Description: Assumes responsibility for all tasks required at the front desk, assisting patients and the physician as needed. Responsible for check-in and check-out of patients, answers incoming calls and scheduling patient appointments. High School Graduate required. Secretarial course of study preferred. Prior experience in a medical office required; orthopedic office preferred.

Description: The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for frontline end-user technical support for Speare Memorial Hospital, including hardware, software, network and telecommunication issues. This includes end-user account setup and maintenance, hardware setup and modifications, desktop application installation and configuration, problem resolution, routine maintenance, configuration management and issue tracking, escalation and documentation. High School Diploma required. Technical Institute certificate in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred. MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) and A+ certification preferred. 1 year experience working within a help desk setting required. 2-4 years experience working within help desk setting or hospital information systems department preferred.

Description: The Patient Care Technician provides support and assistance to the delivery of patient under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). High School Graduate or equivalent required. Position: Case Manager/Utilization Reviewer

Description: This position will in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals assess, plan, coordinate and oversee the plan of care for the in-patient population, and effectively prepare patients for discharge through patient/family meetings and coordination of home services. Also work with Emergency Department staff, when requested, regarding clarification of admission criteria. Ensure appropriate use of hospital resources to support quality care safely, timely, effectively, efficiently, equitably, and with a focus of patient centeredness. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required. Bachelors of Nursing or higher preferred. Minimum of two years previous nursing in acute care setting required. In-patient critical care and communicating with third party payers experience preferred. Registered Nurse with valid NH state license and BLS certification required. Certification in a relevant specialty preferred.

Description: The Surgical Technician assists the Surgical Team in organizing, implementing and evaluating the activities that occur in the surgical environment by performing assigned technical duties. High School Graduate required. Successful completion of Surgical Technician program required. Previous clinical experience in a health care setting required. Prefer previous experience as a surgical technician with certification.

Position: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant

Description: The Emergency Department mid-level functions as an active member of the interdisciplinary team that provides health care services to patients seeking care in the Emergency Department. The mid-level works both independently and collaboratively with the Emergency Department physician to provide comprehensive health care services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, prescription, treatment and follow-up planning. Registered Nurse currently licensed in the state of New Hampshire required. APRN currently registered with the New Hampshire Board of Nursing required. PALS and ACLS at the time of hire or within one year of hire. Current BCLS certification required. Occupational Health experience preferred.

Description: Accurately assigns appropriate ICD-9-CM and CPT procedure codes to all outpatient records through the 3M Encoder System which interfaces with the hospital information system. High School Diploma or equivalent with completion of post high school medical terminology course required. Two years of college level training in either a health information technology or medical secretarial/medical assistant training program or a minimum of two years of hands-on hospital coding experience with some formal coding training preferred. One year experience in medical office or hospital outpatient coding required. Five years experience in hospital outpatient coding preferred. Certificate training in Coding, Medical Terminology, Pathophysiology and other related topics in health information technology required. RHIT or CCS credentials preferred.

Position: Respiratory Therapist
Department: Cardiopulmonary Services

Description: Conducts cardiological and pulmonary tests and respiratory care modalities for the in-patient and out-patient population. Such tests provide data for use in diagnosing heart and lung diseases using electrocardiograph, treadmill, holter monitor and spirometers. In addition is responsible for setting up and operating various oxygen delivery devices, to include ventilator management and respiratory care treatment, evaluation and assessment. Advanced level practitioner. Graduate of American Medical Association approved School of Respiratory Therapy and successful completion of the Registry Examination required. New Hampshire State Board of Registration and Medicine Respiratory Therapy Licensure required. 1-3 years of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred.

Description: The Supervisor of Health Information Management will assist the Director in overall organization, planning, control and directing of the employees and functions in Health Information Services of Speare Memorial Hospital. Current matriculation in an Associates or Bachelors Degree program in Health Information Service (HIS) or related field required. Completed Associates Degree/Bachelors Degree in HIS or related field preferred. 3-5 years experience in management of Health Information Management required. Certification in HIS preferred. Credentialed as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) required within 3 years of hire.
