Position: Paramedic
Dept: Emergency Department

Status: 24 hours/week (3 p.m. - 11 p.m.) with every other weekend

Description:

The Paramedic participates as a member of the nursing staff by performing various assessments, treatments and technical task as requested. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Paramedic assists with the delivery of non-critical and critical emergency care within the limits of his/her training, and documents that care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. High School Graduate or equivalent required. Experience in a health care setting required. Three to five years experience in a hospital setting serving the same age/type of patient population preferred. Must be a certified EMT-P (Paramedic) in the State of New Hampshire. Must have current BLS certification (adult, child, and infant), PALS and ACLS. Completion of specialized trauma courses preferred.

Position: Outpatient Coder
Dept: Health Information Management

Status: 40 hours/week Monday through Friday days

Description:

Accurately assigns appropriate ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 diagnosis codes to all outpatient records through the 3M encoder system which interfaces with the hospital information system. High school graduate or equivalent with completion of post high school medical terminology course required. Certificate training in coding, medical terminology, pathophysiology and other related topics in health information technology preferred. One year experience in medical office or hospital outpatient coding required. Certificate training in coding, medical terminology, pathophysiology and other related topics in health information required. RHIT or CCS credentials preferred.

Description:

Assess and identify patient problems/needs, establish a plan of care and implement and evaluate nursing care for patients. Current NH state RN licensure or eligibility. ACLS required. Minimum one year previous nursing experience necessary. TNCC/ENPC and/or CEN preferred.

Position: Office Nurse (LPN or RN)
Dept: Plymouth General Surgery

Status: 40 hours/week Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Description:

The Registered Nurse assesses and identifies patient problems/needs, establishes a plan of care and implements and evaluates nursing care for patients. The Licensed Practical Nurse contributes to the nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family/significant other teaching, and works collaboratively with other members of the Health Care Team under the guidance of the Registered Nurse and/or Physician. Current New Hampshire RN/LPN licensure required. Previous experience required. Physician office experience preferred.

Bachelor of Nursing preferred. Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of New Hampshire. Must have current BLS certification (adult, child, and infant). ACLS preferred; required within 12 months of hire. ENPC and TNCC preferred. Certification in a field of Nursing preferred.
