Description: | The Paramedic participates as a member of the nursing staff by performing various assessments, treatments and technical task as requested. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Paramedic assists with the delivery of non-critical and critical emergency care within the limits of his/her training, and documents that care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. High School Graduate or equivalent required. Experience in a health care setting required. Three to five years experience in a hospital setting serving the same age/type of patient population preferred. Must be a certified EMT-P (Paramedic) in the State of New Hampshire. Must have current BLS certification (adult, child, and infant), PALS and ACLS. Completion of specialized trauma courses preferred. |
